The Sacred Art of Being Okay
The Hebrew word for peace is “shalom” and conveys the idea of wholeness, completeness, and being okay. Jesus promised believers peace in 2 Thessalonians 3:16 and John 14:27, so why are many of us not okay? Pastor Kyle Welch shares three things every Christian needs to know as they long for and pursue peace. 1.) We do not have peace because we’re all over the place. 2.) The grace of Jesus Christ is the only way we can truly be okay. 3.) The peace of Christ is found in only one place, the presence of God, and we arrive there in prayer.
