Jesus Saves
In 1935, the Bible Institute of Los Angeles, now called Biola University, erected a neon red sign declaring two bold words: JESUS SAVES. Eighty years later, that sign still stands and has become a historical landmark in L.A. echoing Paul’s dedication to center his ministry on Christ and His cross (1 Corinthians 2:1-5). Pastor Jeff Walling shares how there is always a danger that something else will become the centerpiece of our faith and our witness. But it’s not the speaker or the sermon, and it’s not our smarts or our style that bring salvation…Jesus alone saves!
